Electric Tea Kettles Are Phasing Out Stovetop Kettles Fast

The green tea kettle has been used for some time now, but it is ever being altered and designed in new ways. It is by far the most convenient instrument for boiling water for different uses. It may be used to make tea, chocolate or coffee in addition to heating water to soups and other food products.

Electric tea kettles are mostly made of stainless steel, plastic or aluminum. They heat water via a heating element and also have an automatic shut off function which switches off the kettle when the water boils. This is a great way of preventing spillage, improving security and preventing the heating component from becoming ruined.

An electric kettle can be corded or cordless. Corded kettles would be the older versions and also have removable IEC C15 and C16 connections. Cordless versions were introduced later in the late 1980s and early 1990s. These versions have two components; a kettle and a base. The kettle is set on the base, which is then linked to the power supply. Power moves in the source, through the foundation, to the kettle. The base and kettle have electrical components that interconnect them making electric flow possible.

Comparing electric tea kettles with stovetop kettles

Of the two, stovetop versions have existed for the longest time and are still a favorite of many people. However, the electrical kettle is fast gaining popularity for its convenience and the advantages it has over the stovetop version.

An electric kettle has the option of pre-setting the warmth you want your water to boil or heat at. The stovetop models do not have this option. The shut off system in an electrical is considered better and safer than the whistle the stovetop kettles produce when water boils.

An electric kettle can be easily packaged and carried when traveling. The stovetop can only be used in one place - the kitchen.

Electric tea kettles are available in various styles and can be seen in many retail shops. They can also be bought online
